SKETCHING in the COMPASS ROSE KITCHEN

"TO CROP .  .  .  .   .

OR NOT TO CROP?  THAT IS THE QUESTION"
So MUCH from which to choose!  But the kitchen, with its copper pans, orchid, amaryllis and bamboo plants, maiolica crockery and perky rooster pitcher called to me the most.  The Nutcracker Chef and I settled in at the cozy little table for a long and satisfying sketching session.

  2. Outstanding work, Judi! Love the way you've focused attention on the center and left the peripheral items more suggestive. I vote for "crop" based on these two images. I really like the way your work is evolving.

  3. Absolutely marvelous, Judi. So much detail to sketch yet you simplified it wonderfully. I like the cropped version. This is really wonderful.

  4. All the interesting objects you so carefully sketched are great. The sketch looks like it's in an English cottage kitchen.
