Sculptor Sue Taves is working on a marble piece at Fine Art Builders in Freeland (formerly known as the Target Rental building). Lane Tompkins is working on his piece of stone in the background. Several sculptors rent work space in the building. What a find - all that stone lying about, sculptors at work and all those planes picking up light and shadow. A person could do some serious value studies in this environment. Even a gentle, gorgeous Malamute strolling around. I think this is my new favorite place to sketch. Love it, love it, love it!
