Across the Water to Port Townsend

After rolling across the water on the ferry, I caught this lady in Tyler's eating sweets. I started with watercolor and added very few lines.

The person in the foreground was sitting outside on the deck at Sirens. The lady in red was in a painting on the wall inside. I worked on this first in pencil then added watercolor.

A very late and loose self portrait.

  1. I am very enamoured of the lady in red and the person in green. One could spin quite a tale around that image. I think it's your best work ever :-)In fact all three of these characters might have walked out off the pages of a good murder mystery.

  2. As you know, I really really like the lady in red - such lovely free flowing lines, great face, voluptuous bod. Really lovely. All of these are just dandy!!
