This past weekend I had 4 artist friends join me for sketching, watercolor painting and oil painting at Studio 106. What could be better? On Friday I did several sketches. Here is my rendition of Chris Sharp doing one of her vibrant floral watercolor paintings. Also my sketch of the same subject...her gifts to Studio 106, a beautiful pink azalea and a lovely bottle of red wine. Later a couple of us joined up with Sue Van Etten and Kris Wiltse to savor delicious barbeque and great conversation. It looks like we missed out on great music and sketching though by not joining them at Music for the Eyes.
Gorgeous sketches, Phyllis. Love the juiciness of your watercolors. Can't wait to get some pointers from you in Manzanillo or before.
