Best Paella This Side of Barcelona

Bayleaf invited me to sketch at one of their catered paella parties last weekend.  What a treat (both sketching and enjoying a "doggy bag" of the best paella this side of Barcelona).  

Here's David, paella chef extraordinaire.  Yes, that's a boat paddle he uses to stir the paella.  This is the "medium" sized pan - you ought to see the pan he uses for 250 people!!!

And a splash of sparkling rosé from Bayleaf topped off the weekend at our house.

    Excellent sketches, Lisbeth. I have Paella and Rose sketch envy. These are both delightful!
