I was originally attracted to this grave because of the juxtaposition of the Blessed Virgin Mary on one end of the plot with a big green frog statue on the other. I wondered if they represented different aspects of the deceased's nature.But due to poor planning, the frog was off the page and didn't get sketched.
I really like both of these sketches. You did a great job of organizing the chaos in the first image. I like the patterns and textures. I like the simplicity and light of the second.
