What I Like

You know what I like about drawing at cafes? Free models. Coffee, muffins and good company.

    There are tons of things I like about sketching in cafes. It forces me to challenge myself by working more quickly than is comfortable, working with moving subjects and finding a focus in an environment overloaded with stimuli. In a short time, I've overcome my fear of drawing in public. I also love getting out in my community more than I otherwise would and hanging out with my fellow sketchers. It's a win-win-win for me.

    Hey Kris, Why aren't you including the sketch of the child you did that day at Mukilteo Coffee? I really liked it!
