My sketching has gotten so tight lately, so serious, so proper, so "in the lines". This week I'm working on loosening up. A lot. Quick, loose sketching ending with some spatter and splash that several Whidbey Island Sketchers are doing these days. Whew! I feel better already.

I love your new style, Lisbeth. In some cases I have thought your sketches were Sue's-----the mistress of looseness! My New Year's resolution is to strive for more looseness too. If only I can be half as successful as you. Keep up the good work! Aloha from Hawaii, Cathy
