The new phone books are out! Our own Kris Wiltse won the Whidbey Telecom phone book cover art contest this year with her block print "Low Tide". It represents a view of the headlands at Scatchet Head, where Kris often walks with her dogs. Congratulations, Kris. It looks great!
What a beautiful composition with simplicity, wonderful colors and eye catching. They finally selected a piece of art that fits their criteria. Will you someday give a class on block printing? I'd be interested in learning the technique.
