CHRISTMAS CARDS

It was mentioned to me that it would be fun to post the hand sketched Christmas cards that our fellow sketchers exchanged with each other during the Christmas season 2010. If you would like to post the card that you received, please email me @ bclmmathews@whidbey.com and I'll post them together on the WIS blog. I am really looking forward to all the beautiful sketches. Rides at the Fair

Sue and I sat in the bleachers overlooking the fair activities. It was visual overload for me and took some time to sift through it all. A fun time all in all at the fair, especially looking at the critters.

Library and the Edgecliff

The library workshop was so fun! And there were so many enthusiastic people wanting to learn and draw. A number of children too. Thank you JoAnn and Jay!

I did a small sketch of the flower still life at the end of class.









Sue and I headed to the Edgecliff for "unwinding." An interesting bunch last evening. Got in a few sketches. What a pleasure.

WISk on Display at Freeland Library

Freeland Library has kindly invited our group to display our works through the month of March. Members showing are Faye Castle, Sherryl Goldfinger, Lisbeth Cort, Sue Van Etten, Betty Rayle and Kris Wiltse. Stop by for a peek. It's a nice display and we're proud of our member's work.
