The Travel Sketchbook Begins

We're off to London for Christmas.  Paint box is filled and ready to go. I couldn't resist getting a jump start on my London sketch journal even before we get on the plane!  Happy holidays sketcher friends.

  3. Thanks so much, Kris and Claire. I never can wait to sketch until the trip. I always seem to get too impatient and have to sketch SOMETHING as the trip anticipation builds!

    Merry Christmas.

  4. You are ever the consummate designer! These pages are so beautifully composed, colored and laid out. It's a teeny tiny coffee table book already! Have a wonderful time! Cheerio!

  5. Beautifully done! Such wonderful plans. There is a lot crammed into each day. I see you have the Wallace Collection on your agenda. I first saw it because it is a excellent armor museum. There is a Chinese mail hauberk (shirt) of very, very tiny riveted rings. So impressive. Good thing you are returning on Boxing Day. My memories of spending Christmas week in London is that there was NOTHING to do for 3 or 4 days after Christmas. I gave up and went home (which was Leeds at the time).
