I've seen this group of gentlemen at more than one Coupeville breakfast spot.They gather at 10:00 for coffee, breakfast and politics. Seven of them showed up today. Do they meet everyday? Or just Tuesdays? I 'm not sure. But I love seeing them out together having a good time with their pals.

ReplyDeleteThanks. Luckily, we had to leave before I had a chance to overwork it (much). Now, if they would just wear something more colorful. Or I need to learn to use my pigments to get richer washes. The palette of their wardrobe is a little drab for my liking.
ReplyDeleteDrab or no, it's a great sketch. I think if your color got much richer you'd loose the wonderful line. Old guys are drab.
