Overdue sharing

Finally figured out how to sign-in and post so here is a way overdue set of paintings from my last 3 excursions with the sketchers.  I love sketching with all of you!  What a wonderful way to spend a Friday afternoon.
Lots of laughter at the alpaca farm with these huge animals almost sitting in our laps.

Never knew a hair salon could be so much fun.

Meerkerk Gardens is gorgeous. So wonderful to sit in the sun and paint with all the sketchers.

Sketching at Meerkerk Gardens

Fifteen Whidbey Island Sketchers enjoying the day in the brilliant sunshine, birds singing, a warm breeze, high on the bluff overlooking Saratoga Passage, Baby Island, the Cascade Mountains, and acres of rhododendrons in bloom. All colors, from dark purple through gold, white pink, red and coral. Heavenly!!

Meerkerk Garden Gumdrops

The gumdrop shaped trees in the rock garden at Meerkerk are an interesting arrangement to paint at any angle. This garden is all about round vertical and horizontal forms. Fun to watch the light define it over the hours. This sketch isn't complete, but that may be a good thing!

Meerkerk Rhododendron Garden Path

It was a glorious, sunny day for sketching at Meerkerk Gardens. As Mike said, there is so much to sketch here, we could come back every week for the next 3 months and still not capture it all.

With this image upload I reached my 1GB limit for free storage with Google. So, now I'm paying $5/year for Google storage.

Meerkerk

I missed the message about not meeting
today and sketched from my car. Have fun at
happy hour.
