You've got a great smile, Lisbeth! Thank you for lighting up the room! Happy Birthday!

Sorry. Didn't mean to make you look like Howdy Doody!

Our Anniversary

It's the Whidbey Island Sketchers 1st year anniversary this month. To celebrate we all met at Faye's for snacks and wine, and sketching of course. Thank you Faye for your warm hospitality and allowing us to sketch around your cozy house. Got in this sketch of Catherine painting tangerines...

Rides at the Fair

Sue and I sat in the bleachers overlooking the fair activities. It was visual overload for me and took some time to sift through it all. A fun time all in all at the fair, especially looking at the critters.

Waif's Cat Cottage

Here are my Cat Cottage sketches. Michelle is the first. What a sweetheart and darling. A character! This is not a good sketch of her, but wanted to include her since she's a doll and needs a home.

This is Melissa. She's beautiful! She would do best in a quiet home with a loving person to bring her out.

A watercolor of Coho.

A brush Drawing of Coho. A lovely, sweet quiet kitty.

Two beautiful black cats. Both sweet hearts. Honey pies, all!

Leg Lamp and Laptop Lady

Mike's has an interesting decor palette. Dark burnt oranges, purple and brown. I think that's a triad. Anyways, purple and orange make a lovely brown. It was a blast painting with the WISk comedians, Sherryl, Lisbeth and Sue. We'll soon be performing at Wica.

Miriam's Cafe, Coupeville

Here are my sketches from Miriam's Cafe in Coupeville. They have very tasty Breakfast sandwiches and great coffee. Happily, it was a bustling place. I had a wonderful time sketching with Lisbeth and Sue.

People were there for hours at a time so we had no problems with patrons leaving in the middle of a drawing.
