Love the DOs. In regards to scannin...Nice sketches. Love the DOs. In regards to scanning flat: Put a heavy book on the back of the sketchbook, but not on the spirals. Make sure the page you're scanning is laying flat on the bed. Sometimes I stack several to make it lay flat if the paper is crinkled. Scan with the lid open.
